The Tsfat Education Fund, established in 2007, is a 501(c)3 tax-deductible nonprofit corporation in the U.S. and is committed to strong structure, value and transparency. The Holy City of Tsfat is an ancient city of Torah and spiritual treasures. The Tsfat Education Fund has undertaken the responsibility for the long-term structure and strategy for major gifts and endowment on behalf of the central Torah institutions throughout the city, administered by Nachal Novea Mekor Chochma.
Nachal Novea Mekor Chochma is a nonprofit organization founded Israel in 1967 to restore Judaism to Tsfat, by rebuilding her physical and spiritual ruins. Five hundred years ago, it was famed as the city of kabbalah and excellence in Torah in the time of the Arizal. In four decades, Nachal Novea succeeded in establishing a wide range of social, communal and educational institutions that form the spinal cord of the city. Their work serves both local and Israel-wide populations, as well as thousands of monthly visitors and tourists from outside of Israel, including Birthright and the Jewish Women’s Renaissance Project.
